Faith Hill launches her comeback single ‘Come Home’



Los Angeles, Nov 11 :Faith Hill has started performing again. The country singer has not performed in five years but she did so at the CMA awards. The event which was held on Wednesday was used by the 44-year-old to launch her first country single since 2005. The single “Come Home,” is on her promised-album which is expected to be released next year.
The packed auditorium gave the singer standing ovation before the performance. It has been more than 10 years since Hill appeared at a CMA event. She was awarded the female vocalist of the year award during the 2000 event.
During the CMA event, The Band Perry picked the Single of the Year with the track “If I Die Young.” Jason Aldean won the Album of the Year with the project My Kinda Party. The group Lady Antebellum received the Vocal Group of the Year award. The Band Perry picked another award when they were named the New Artist of the Year.
The Entertainer of the Year award was given to Taylor Swift with Miranda Lambert winning the Female Vocalist of the Year award. Sugarland was honored with the Vocal Duo of the Year award.
The CMA is used to honor country singers.
